Food Chain Battle
Introduction
The goal is to build food chains and gain points by constructing a successful food chain. The game ends when a player reaches 30 points. The game is played between 2 to 4 players.
Gameplay
On your turn, you can place cards or skip your turn. To place a card, click on it, drag it to the table, and release the card.
Card Details
Each card in the game features an animal's name, an image, and a brief description of the creature. In the top-right corner, the card shows its points based on rarity. The background color of the card indicates its rarity.
#Green cards (common) have 4 copies.
#Blue cards (rare) have 3 copies.
# Purple cards (epic) have 2 copies.
# Gold (legendary) and Red (apex) cards have 1 copy each.
Game Loop
At the start of the game, each player is given 7 cards in hand. A random producer card is placed on the table to begin the game. On their turn, each player must play a card that can eat the last card played on the table (For example, Producer>Animal ...> Apex). Each time a card is played, the round score increases by 1. The round ends when a predator or apex card is played. The game continues until someone reaches 30 points.
Bonus Point
When a predator card is played, the round score is awarded to the player who played the card. If an apex card is played, the player receives double the round score. Additionally, the longer the food chain built during the round, the bigger the bonus points awarded.
